Anna Chocola, Milliner and Slow-Fashion Designer

Franco-British artist Anna Chocola studied Fine Art at L’École des Beaux-Arts in Aix-en-Provence before pivoting her creative focus to millinery. Designing and making luxury ladies’ hats since 2010, she initially established her practice in Brighton. Her atelier has recently relocated to the seaside town of Seaford, where every bespoke piece is individually handcrafted and shipped to a global clientele.

Chocola’s distinctive hats have graced the stage at Dublin’s Gate Theatre for the production of Piaf, and appeared at London’s BFI during Mira Calix’s live score performance for Hitchcock’s Champagne. Notable clients include fashion stylist Anna Bromilow and actress Eva Birthistle, who wore a custom Anna Chocola design to the 2018 royal wedding. Her work has caught the attention of prestige publications like ELLE USand VOGUE Italia. Furthermore, she has supplied London’s Fashion and Textile Museum shop since 2016 and Farleys House and Gallery since 2025.

Offering a dedicated tailor-made millinery service alongside a curated collection of seasonal pieces, Chocola is deeply committed to slow fashion. She mindfully sources British fabrics, utilizes deadstock materials, and upcycles textiles wherever possible. Exceptional provenance and environmental sustainability remain at the heart of her ethical brand.
