As if there wasn’t enough good reason to visit Kew’s Sussex satellite, this summer there’s an extra artistic bent to the botanical gardens. Not only is Wakefield House clad in Europe’s biggest-ever photo installation (courtesy of Australian-born artist Catherine Nelson, see ROSA #3); there’s also a sculpture and sound trail, entitled Rooted, with tree-themed works fashioned by an array of eco-minded artists, including Chila Kumari Burman, plus Hidden Orchestra & Tim Southorn.
