Alinah Azideh, an artist, poet and writer of British-Iranian heritage, has been writer in residence for the South Downs National Park for three years, and We Hear You Now is the fruit of that residency. Azideh has been collaborating with eight female artists of colour, each of whom has recorded a response to the landscape: these works can be listened to at 15 embedded posts along the Seven Sisters coastal path. The project was launched during Brighton Festival, and will run for three years.
