Hastings Contemporary, a gallery situated on the coastline of Hastings, exhibits modern and contemporary art. The gallery showcases a range of different events for the art lovers of East Sussex. Opened in 2012 as the Jerwood Gallery (because it housed the Jerwood Collection), the gallery was renamed in 2019. An array of notable artists have exhibited at the gallery, including Sir Quentin Blake who lives locally.
