Emma Mason, in central Eastbourne, traces its origins to 2002, when Emma met printmaker Robert Tavener soon after moving down from London with husband Richard Mason. The couple were inspired by Tavener’s fifty years of printmaking, and after his death in 2004 they began setting up a gallery to showcase his craft. In March 2020, they moved to their new gallery and workspace on Lushington Lane. Emma Mason regularly hosts printmaking exhibitions, as well as advising major galleries on projects and exhibitions.
