Contemporary Glaswegian painter Kaye Donachie, represented by Maureen Paley, is one of the most imaginative portrait artists of our time. Donachie depicts avant-garde twentieth-century women, working from archive photography, in romantic shades of green, blue and pink. She has also chosen a side-show of works from the gallery’s permanent collection to accompany her exhibtion.
