Passion, the latest show from Arundel-based Andy Waite, sees the painter continue his exploration of the abstract. While still rooted in landscape, the paintings on show here derive from imagination and instinct rather than from physical location – a Sussex psychogeography, if you will. In this mapping out of the interior self, this topographic survey of the inner world, Waite makes use of new colour combinations which he has described as “exhilarating and revelatory”. Exhilaration and revelation are certainly elements at work on Waite’s canvas ; come along to experience it first-hand.

The show is open on the weekend from 26 April to 6 May (including the bank holiday Monday).
