Spend a weekend soaking up both the sunshine and some incredible local art this May, as the Artists Open Houses festival returns once more to Brighton, Hove and the surrounding area. Last year’s festival saw almost 200 artists’ homes and studios open up for public viewing and this year promises to be just as extensive. From emerging artists to those with nationwide recognition, artworks from the entire community will be available to discover, while several venues will also offer workshops for those who want to get involved. Whether it’s discovering the behind-the-scenes of an artist’s process, meeting the makers themselves, or enjoying the abundance of tea and cake on offer, AOH ensures an inspiring and great day out for all.
