On International Women’s Day, Saturday March 8, 2025, The Southover Gallery in Lewes hosted a celebration of the life and legacy of artist and printmaker Peggy Angus by those who knew her well.
Carolyn Trant, Tanya Harrod, Sarah Lawrence and Diana Hall, who make up students, friends and biographers of Peggy, were filmed in conversation with weaving post-graduate Beatrice Uprichard, a huge Peggy fan. The conversation is shaped by their friendships, memories of working with Peggy and the lasting impact she had on their lives.
