See this maker of joy-filled mobiles at work

Mason’s mobile sculptures explore themes of balance, lightness and, he hopes, a sense of joy. He is interested in forms that fill a space, but with little volume, and that have a spare, restrained aesthetic. His limited palette reflects these concerns. He uses found materials as well as carving and shaping wood and metal in a effort to keep the method of construction as simple as possible in a balance of form and function. Go along to see him at work and ask questions!
