Oxmarket Contemporary will host the University of Chichester’s Fine Art Graduates for their Fine Art Degree Show. The Exhibition is supported by The Arts Society and will show for two weeks. The group have largely known each other since 2021 when they started their Fine Art BA degrees. Since then, they’ve each developed a unique and particular way of working in painting, drawing, printmaking, textiles and/or sculpture that reflects three years of focused development. Each graduate has a clear material practice, an understanding of how art can embody current ideas, and a professionalism that signals a way forward for artists making work that is as interesting as it is relevant.

These fourteen artists have each developed a way of working that is unusual and personal, and all have been heavily influenced by modern and contemporary artists in terms of technique, style and ideas.  Their work shares a clarity of intention, and is characterised by an emotive sharpness. 

Each artist has a unique approach that reflects their artistic journey and personal biography.
