We are delighted to welcome ROSA readers to a private reception and preview of Alexander Johnson’s new exhibition, ‘Model Behaviour’.  Alexander will be talking about the inspiration behind this captivating body of works and answering questions.

A cast of vintage metal figures populate Alexander’s latest paintings. Much enlarged from the tiny originals, the heavily-worn models take on a world weary philosophical role as they gaze out towards the viewer. Each of the characters seems to ask a different question, the individual titles may give us a clue as to what the question may be.
