Within this surreal and earthy presentation, Bristol-based Cross merges personal, elemental and historic fragments to create a series of works untethered to any singular era, person or place. Witnessed collectively, a sense of estranged self-portraiture emerges as divergent facets of psychology, ecology, fable and history collage within each work.
