Bach fans rejoice! Lewes Baroquefest returns to St Michael’s Church and Lewes Town Hall this July, bringing with it a programme full of the finest music the period has to offer. Performed by top baroque musicians, the festival will culminate with a performance of Bach’s Mass in B minor. Other highlights include a solo Bach performance by violinist Alison Bury, a musical tour of Europe from flautist and harpsichordist pair Laura Piras and David Wright, and ‘Passion and Passacaglia’ with Julia Bishop on violin and Paula Chateauneuf on lute.
