Indigenous textiles from Argentina.

A double bill of young South American artists: Brazilian Allan Weber attempts to deconstruct life in the favelas of Rio using a variety of media: assemblage, installation, sculpture and photography. Claudia Alarcón is an indigenous textile artist from the La Puntana community of Wichí people from Salta, Argentina, who leads a collective of 100+ women weavers, spinning vegetal fibres from the local chaguar plant.
