There are three concerts this autumn to kick-start the BPO’s new season, opening with A New World, featuring rising star Junyan Chen on piano, playing Rachmaninoff’s ‘Everest of piano concertos’ No. 3, as well as renditions of Bartók’s The Miraculous Mandarin, and Ravel’s La Valse.
