Stalwart of the Arundel art scene Andy Waite returns with ‘Colour Notes for Travellers’. This exhibition, held at Waite’s gallery space at 54 Tarrant Street, will consist of two strands. The first of which will showcase an exploratory body of work which recalls earlier work by Waite in its delving into the realm of the abstract whilst retaining landscape forms and figurations. The second strand features paintings completed whilst the artist was in Venice in May this year. These works echo the city not only in their gorgeous jewel-like pastel colour palette, but also in the large arched-panels which serve as their canvas. These Venetian works will be displayed in their own room.

The preview for this exhibition will be on 16 August from 4-8pm.
