Abigail Norris: Ghosts in the Nursery
5 Feb – 28 Mar

Sculptor Abigail Norris burst onto the scene in 2022 with a ‘thunderously eye-catching’ RCA graduate show, hailed by Waldemar Januszczak in his Sunday Times column. She was snapped up by art dealer/curator Julian Page after the inaugural Women in Art Fair in 2024, having featured in a show-within-the-show curated by our very own Rowena Easton. Norris has since given star turns at the 2025 London and British Art Fairs. This winter, Page’s new Chichester gallery gives full rein to her mesmerising, grief-infused creations: dark, fairytale forms spun from copper wire, latex, vintage garments, and found objects, challenging patriarchal and industrial systems. The strapline for this site-specific installation reads: ‘Curiosity, care and cruelty – the silent inheritance of relational neglect.’ Can’t wait. Catch this rising star at julianpage.co.uk
