Yet another exciting exhibition opens in Newhaven this November. A collaboration between Photo Fringe and Jane & Jeremy (check out The Bookend in Kemptown if you’re into art and photography books), A Land Within is a showcase of work exploring our relation to the land we inhabit, and the various implications (historical, political, social) that our relation to it has. The thematic thread which runs throughout the show manifests as a rumination on questions both inward and outward-facing in nature; questions concerning where the land ends and our respective senses of selfhood begin, as well as ethical questions about land ownership and profit.
