Sara is a Saltdean-based painter who started painting portraits during the first lockdown in March 2020. She mainly paints people and was a semi-finalist on Sky Arts’ Portrait Artist of the Year series 10, and has since presented two episodes of Artist of the Year Masterclass for Sky which aired in December 2024.

Sara’s work is led by strong colour, shape, and impact. She works from both observation and photography, and is particularly drawn to representing women in her paintings. Most of her works featured in the exhibition are oil on paper or wood panel.
