Owned by the National Trust but managed by Kew, Wakehurst has over 500 acres of gardens and meadows and the world’s largest wild seed conservation. Flora from all over the globe populates its splendid glades and gardens; the redwoods in particular are really something special. A wonderful spot for a walk, and once you’re finished you can enjoy a coffee and/or a sandwich at one of its cafes.
