Britain’s Landscape
A centuries-old font of artistic inspiration, this show from Arundel Contemporary showcases recent interpretations of the British landscape. Expect excellent work by Lucy Marks, Malcolm Ashman and Andy Waite, to name just a few.
Nestled into Arundel’s historic Maltravers Street, Arundel Contemporary has been exhibiting fine works of contemporary art since 2009. There is a unique mixture of mediums to be enjoyed in the gallery’s five exhibition spaces; oil and acrylic paintings, studio ceramics, mixed-media paintings, etchings, and digital art prints all feature. The gallery is directed by Maya Coppen, and ordinarily puts on up to six exhibitions per year.

Drawing on a rather impressive roster of printmakers, this group exhibition from Arundel Contemporary will focus on several widely used printing techniques from screen prints to aquatints, from linocuts to dry point. Look out for work by ROSA contributor Gary Goodman, and ROSA cover artist Alexander Johnson!
Rounding out the winter season for Arundel Contemporary, this group show features pieces by the gallery's own artists working in small format.

Both artists are inspired by the landscape, real and imaginary. From Dec 2 the gallery is also exhibiting a […]
A selection of new works by Ipswich-based artist Naomi Munuo.
We are delighted to welcome ROSA readers to a private reception and preview of Alexander Johnson's new exhibition, 'Model Behaviour'. Alexander will be talking about the inspiration behind this captivating body of works and answering questions. A cast of vintage metal figures populate Alexander's latest paintings. Much enlarged from the tiny originals, the heavily-worn models […]
We are delighted to welcome a new and exciting body of work from Alexander Johnson. A cast of vintage metal figures populate his latest paintings. Much enlarged from the tiny originals, the heavily-worn models take on a world weary philosophical role as they gaze out towards the viewer. Each of the characters seems to ask […]
