We welcome you to spend a gentle day in an ancient woodland in the Low Weald of Kent, learning how to weave with willow and transform this graceful natural material into a Frame Basket, with tutor Lisa Dear @lisa.dear.maker

 A  hands-on course, Lisa will guide you through the techniques of weaving with willow and the selection of the right materials to create your own Frame Basket in a day. 
There will be “willow and basket banter” a plenty, with time to learn about the types of willow and the many practical and creative uses of this natural, tactile material 

 With ancient woodland at the very heart of the day, there will be an opportunity to walk the woods (an after lunch limber up) and gain insight into holistic woodland management and the ecological and historical importance of Ancient Woodland with Environmental Forester/woodswoman, Frankie Woodgate @wealdwoodscapes
