The first major exhibition dedicated to Quentin Bell in almost 30 years brings together over 100 works in ceramics, sculpture, works on paper and painted objects. Running concurrently, contemporary artist Olivia Sterling shows paintings that respond to Charleston’s history. Expect a vivid, often playful eye on race, class, gender and domestic life. Then, at Charleston’s Lewes outpost, Mad Bloomsbury re-examines forgotten and familiar Bloomsbury histories through the lenses of disability and neurodiversity (Nov 4 – April 11, 2027).
