What happens when you put more than a dozen fantastic female artists from all over East Sussex together in a room? The answer is ‘Moments Gathered’, the inaugural exhibition from the Quayside Arts Collective, a bold new group of mixed‑media artists rooted in the everyday rhythms, dramatic coastlines and rolling hills of the county.

Across painting and experimental mixed media, the group of artists explore colour, texture, landscape and life with work that’s vibrant, expressive and full of personality. The exhibition will be a welcoming, unpretentious space that’ll pique your curiosity and where everyone is invited to enjoy – and maybe even take home – original art at accessible prices.

The collective said: ‘We love the sea, cliffs and the hills as much as the creative process behind producing works. Expect a wide range of styles and subjects, from abstract explorations of colour and texture to expressive landscapes, figurative work and playful mixed‑media pieces.’ 

Featuring artists whose work has been shortlisted for the @royalacademyarts Summer Exhibition 2025 as well as showcased at @artwavefestival and @sussexcontemporary, the free exhibition at the BN9 @creativenewhaven is a celebration of community, creativity and the shared joy of making.
