Rachel Grimes is an exploratory visual artist behind the floral design studio, The Mirror & The Veil. Working predominantly with fresh elements for events and installations, her work often moves beyond traditional floristry – incorporating paper, fabric, and found materials to serve the piece. As a classically trained Cellist, Rachel grew up through music and the arts, finding her way with determination, slowly weaving worlds together to enable her own expression. Based in Blackboys, East Sussex, Rachel frequently creates art for private events across the south east and London.
Created using crepe, this cloud hangs above the table curated by Newlands House Gallery in homage to Dali and the Surrealists, so interconnected with the history of West Dean.
