Established in 1985, by Suzanne Lucas, The Society of Botanical Artists brings together artists of national and international repute. It works to promote the appreciation of botanical art, exhibit and evaluate work by practising botanical artists, and support the protection, appreciation, conservation and nurture of plants and natural habitats of plant life, especially endangered species.
Works by 16 artists are on show including: Liz Shippam, Nick McMillen, Emma Tildesley, Claire K. Ward, Sheryl Pape, Diane Marshall, Leigh Ann Gale, Jennifer Harmes, Katherine Lawrie, Caroline Jamfrey, Charlie Davies and Julia Patience.
