Newlands House is a leading destination for modern and contemporary art in the UK, located in the picturesque market town of Petworth, West Sussex. Set within a beautifully restored Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse, the gallery offers an intimate and inspiring setting to experience world-class exhibitions.
Since opening in 2020, Newlands House Gallery has presented a dynamic programme that includes exhibitions and events that celebrate the rich artistic heritage of Sussex while highlighting groundbreaking 20th and 21st-century art.
The gallery has showcased acclaimed artists including Helmut Newton, Joan Miró, Lee Miller, Picasso, Eve Arnold, Leonora Carrington, Andy Warhol, Jane Bown with an upcoming show launching end of May for Paula Rego.
For ROSA Botanical Art Fair, the Gallery’s Director, Dr Loucia Manopoulou, is co-curating with mixed media artist Kas Williams a spectacular Craft Banquet in the historic Old Dining Room, featuring ceramics, glass and textiles by leading artists.
