Holly Parr is a self-taught sculptural botanical artist, working with the lost heritage craft form of Venetian glass beading. Originating in Venice, the craft later grew in popularity throughout France and greater Europe.
Holly Parr references natural bouquets to create her bespoke beaded compositions. She runs individual and group workshops; creates interior accents, decorations and beaded flower installations; wedding accessories and bouquets; alongside bespoke pieces by commission. She is committed to the safeguarding of Venetian Glass Beading as a heritage craft and works with various bodies and Heritage Crafts Associations to protect the craft for future generations.
