Graham Gosling
Stand C5
Graham Gosling is a mixed-media artist, photographer, and Japanese archery teacher based in New Ross, South East Ireland. His work is represented by Dalloz Contemporary fine art gallery in Clapham, London, and has been displayed in galleries and art fairs across Ireland and the UK. Gosling’s work is also held in the Irish State collection, as well as many corporate and private collections.
Gosling’s work is heavily influenced by Japanese aesthetics, inspired in part by a trip to Japan in 2023. This is particularly evident in the works he will be exhibiting at the Fair, his latest Kyujustsu series, which are informed by his teaching and practice of Japanese archery. Using a real-life archery target as a foundation, Gosling’s delicate, yet highly complex mixed media compositions, reference a range of Japanese Flora, including Sakura (cherry blossoms), Gingko, Chrysanthemum and Maple.
