The Gallery was founded in Bristol and Bath in 2006. In 2019 the gallery moved to its current, larger, premises on the high street of Castle Cary, a beautiful, historic market town close to Bruton. It is run by husband and wife, David and Lucy Quantrill-Simon, alongside the home and lifestyle shop, Article.
The gallery shows monthly changing exhibitions of new work from their stable of some fifty contemporary artists. Interspersed with these shows is a growing programme of work from a number of artists’ Estates and large-scale exhibitions of 20th and 21st Century Masters’ original works on paper. The gallery regularly stocks signed, original prints by Modern British artists including David Hockney, Ben Nicholson, Patrick Heron, William Scott and Henry Moore.
