Ashley Howard is a potter and part-time lecturer in ceramics at the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham. Having earned his Master’s degree from the Royal College of Art, he has since published numerous articles exploring both technical and aesthetic themes within the craft. His career is marked by international exhibitions, demonstrations, and lectures, including extensive periods spent working in Japan and China. These national and international achievements underpin his membership in the International Academy of Ceramics. Furthermore, Howard’s work is held in various public and private collections and has been featured in a range of prominent publications.
